We believe God created us for community and we always find ourselves on one of life's roads.  We were designed to be a part of a family of fellow believers.  If you're in a place in life where something is just missing.  If you recognize your need for community, you may be asking yourself:

So, what church do I attend and what can I expect at Bridgeport Church of God?

FIRST STEPS:

1.)You've already taken the first step by visiting us online.  Explore our many pages.

2.)The second step is to arrive in person. 

We offer a blended worship style where we sing the classic hymns, and we worship to the newer contemporary praise music.  We preach the Gospel message no matter how hard or unpopular it is.  We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. And because of that,  we believe that we are called to Love whoever God sends our way.  So don't feel like you have to have your life all together to come and worship with us.  We pray you find God's "Amazing Grace" here no matter what road you've traveled in your past.  While we extend grace to all, we also believe God is the God of transformation and He loves us too much to leave us where we are in our sin.   The Bible says we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  God wants to have a relationship with us.  God calls us from a world of sin and to take up our crosses daily and follow Him.  We believe we must check our self identities at the door and recognize that our true identity is found only in HIM!

3.)  Once you've worshiped with us for a little while and feel comfortable, we invite you and your family to join a small group.  Visit our "ABOUT" page to learn of our various ministries.

4.) And once you've plugged in and are getting spiritually fed, it may be time to find your purpose in ministry.

There is always a time where we move from being the recipients of the church's mission -

to being responsible for the church's mission.
